Boiler product update

Andrews Sykes would like to update all our Clients about our new and improved hot water boiler products:

We have a full range of mobile boilers which include 22kW & 36kW mobile electric boilers. These can be connected to any hot water or heating systems quickly & easily. They are ideal for commercial, industrial and leisure applications.

We also have 250kW & 500kW trailer mounted boilers. They can also be connected to water systems but are also ideal to be connected to our 150kW, 300kW & 600kW air handlers that can provide large scale heating for events during winter or large scale drying applications. These units are also complemented by our HPAC90 range which is the market leader high performance package unit with heat pump. read more

The effect of temperature on the 2016 Rio Games

We would like to congratulate all the athletes that recently competed in the Rio games.

The UAE hit a few milestones in the 2016 games. Here are the “UAE in numbers”:

– The Rio 2016 games will be the UAE’s 9th appearance at the games
– 67 athletes have represented the UAE in 10 sports
– 7 athletes competed for the UAE in Los Angeles 1984
– HH Sheikh Ahmed Bin Hasher Al Maktoum won the UAEs first gold medal in Athen 2004 for shooting
– 13 athletes (9 men, 4 woman) will fly the flag for the UAE in Rio 2016
– Sergiu Toma won a bronze medal in Rio for Judo read more

Euro 2016 fan fest kept cool by Andrews Sykes

United Arab Emirates has a population of 9.5 million people and about 5% of the expats are from United Kingdom and European countries. Many of these fans are looking for venues with big screen TVs and a great atmosphere to watch their favorite sport, football!

This year, the tournament will be held in France which has a great time zone for the fans in United Arab Emirates to watch the games in the evening. The event will take place this year from 10 June – 10 July.

Many fan zones have been set up around the Emirates for fans to watch the games. These include tents that require cooling. Due to the high summer temperatures and number of people in each tent, large chillers & air-handlers were provided to ensure sufficient cooling. Split AC units and package AC units were also provided to the smaller tents. read more

Beach cooling for summer party

Dubai has one of the most spectacular coast line and beaches to enjoy. One of our Client decided to have his party on one of the beaches on the Palm Jumeirah Island. The views of Dubai’s skyline were amazing and included Burj Al Arab. The only problem was temperatures were reaching 35 degree Celsius and above.

They contacted Andrews Sykes to provide a temporary outdoor cooling solution which could be delivered and installed the same day and keep the guests cool. We provided our flagship Evaporative Cooler called the EV36. The cool air provided relief to the full venue. The unit also comes with a variable speed fan to ensure it can be adjusted to your preference. read more

Andrews Sykes provides tent cooling for Dubai World Cup Horse Race

Every year in March, Dubai hosts one of the most prestigious horse racing events in the world called the Dubai World Cup. With whopping US$10 million prize money in the main race, this event attracts some on the most talented horses and jockeys in the world.

Apart from the incredible horse racing, the event also provided great entertainment before and after the main race with live performances by Janet Jackson and F&B tents, food trucks and activities for the whole family. Andrews Sykes was pleased to be asked to provide temporary cooling for one of the tents. Heating the Sports Tournament

The UAE witnessed a spell of chilly winds during the first quarter of the year 2016. The unexpected chill has risen the demands of temporary heaters in the region.

Andrews Sykes Climate Rental was contacted for one such heater rental enquiry for a tennis tournament being held in Abu Dhabi, UAE. After a brief site survey, our experts recommended the use of our HPAC90 which is one of the most flexible Air conditioning and heating unit. Two unit were delivered and installed at a distance from the main event and heat was transferred to the area with a perfectly arranged duct system. read more

Our expertise in event cooling is known and reputed around the GCC region and that’s one of the reasons why one of UAE’s leading and most accredited business events agency contacted us during the late summers of 2015.
A mega business event was being held in the Dubai Investment Park during the sudden peak of temperatures which made the event organizers rush to a temporary cooling package provider in order to keep their event comfortable and going smoothly.

The Formula 1 mega event is one of the main highlights of the last quarter in the UAE, which keeps every racing fan rushing to attend the same.
Andrews Sykes Climate Rental was honored to be a part of serving this mega event which lasted for 3 days in the month of November’2015.

Andrews Sykes Climate Rental helps a leading fast food chain during their training

In December 2015, one of the leading chains of fast food restaurants was organizing a training for their newly recruited chefs. The training center was situated indoors and was attended by a number of guests and had less air circulation.

Andrews Sykes Climate Rental was contacted by the event organizers to help them support through the week long theoretical and practical classes. A brief survey and soon after a packaged air conditioning unit, PAC 60 and a 10 ton AC unit were delivered and installed to help with the air cooling and flow. read more

Evaporative Air Coolers Keep the Award Show Cool

In 2014, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum launched the “Drones for Good Award” which was first held in Dubai, UAE in the year 2015.

The award being the first of its kind in the Middle East, attracted over 800 participants from 57 different countries. It was organized in an outdoor area of Dubai internet city, which required some cooling to keep the overwhelming amount of guests comfortable.
