United Arab Emirates has a population of 9.5 million people and about 5% of the expats are from United Kingdom and European countries. Many of these fans are looking for venues with big screen TVs and a great atmosphere to watch their favorite sport, football!
This year, the tournament will be held in France which has a great time zone for the fans in United Arab Emirates to watch the games in the evening. The event will take place this year from 10 June – 10 July.
Many fan zones have been set up around the Emirates for fans to watch the games. These include tents that require cooling. Due to the high summer temperatures and number of people in each tent, large chillers & air-handlers were provided to ensure sufficient cooling. Split AC units and package AC units were also provided to the smaller tents.
The qualifying countries in 2016 include: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and Wales.
