Hire or Buy?
Many customers wonder whether to hire units or buy them and, at Andrews Heat for Hire you have the choice to do either, but which is best for you?
If you buy then, very simply, you pay your money and the unit’s yours! A little obvious but true! However, there are many hidden costs of ownership including storage when the units are not being used, electrical testing, repair or replacement in the event of damage and the cost of disposal at the end of the products life.
If you hire then the key benefits are:
Free Site Survey & Consultation
We will provide you with a no obligation Free Site survey carried out by our experienced qualified Technicians resulting in a detailed quotation and consultation which ensures that you get the equipment that will do the job you need it to.
If you need equipment in an emergency (maybe to protect vital equipment) we can respond within four hours of your call, whatever time of day or night, giving you the peace of mind that your climate control needs will be met, whatever the situation.
Service & Maintenance Included
All hire rates are inclusive of Service and Maintenance throughout the duration of the hire period which enables you to budget accurately. Also, the responsibility for electrical testing and compliance to the relevant standards remains with us saving you the time and trouble involved in organising electricians and record keeping.
Latest Range of Energy – Efficient Equipment
Andrews Sykes Hire offers the latest energy efficient, environmentally friendly equipment on the market endorsed by our BS14001 accreditation ensuring that you can manage your carbon footprint and save money.
No Capital Outlay
No capital expenditure which can avoid the need to go through (sometimes) lengthy approval processes and leaves your capital free to invest in your businesses core capabilities.
Hire costs are tax deductible and avoids discussions with the accountants as to whether units should be an asset, how long they should be depreciated over etc. etc. etc!
A small premium at time of hire protects you from the costs of accidental damage, so if there’s the odd clumsy employee in your building then you won’t be charged for their misdemeanours!
Storage and Disposal
If you purchase units you’ll need to find somewhere to safely store them and when their working life is over you must dispose of them in accordance with the relevant regulations. If you hire, we do all of that for you.
If the temperature changes and you don’t need them anymore then we simply come and get them!
